What We Do
We are your partner in an effort to achieve the United Nations Development Group Millennium Development Goal (MDG)2 “achieve universal primary education” by 2015 in Zimbabwe for rural primary pupils. Motivated by the collapsing of rural primary education system in Zimbabwe as well as the attempt to achieve the United Nations Development Group’s set education goal, Educate A Child is ensuring that rural primary pupils in Zimbabwe will each have a text-book for every course offered in order for them to qualify for high school and college education. Currently the pupil-book ratio among rural primary schools in Zimbabwe is approximately 30 pupils to 1 text-book.
